Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Jaipur
On arrival at Jaipur transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at
your leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02:- Jaipur
Morning excursion
to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the state until 1728, to see the
Sheesha Mahal or the Hall Victory glittering with mirrors. Jai Mahal
and the Temple of Kali. Ascend on elephant back, the hill on which the
fort is situated. Afternoon city sightseeing tour. Jaipur the capital
of Rajasthan, was given a color of pink a century ago in honor of a
visiting Prince, Ever since it has retained that color. Built by
Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer this city is 260 years old.
Visit the Maharaja’s City Palace and the observatory, Albert Hall and
Museum, Ram Niwas Gardens; drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of
Winds. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Jaipur – Bikaner
Early morning drive to Bikaner Afternoon
city sightseeing tour. Bikaner is named after its
Founder Rao Bikaji, who established the Kingdom in1488. But long
before this, the city was a trade centre on the caravan route from
Africa and West Asia. Bikaner’s dominant features are rippling sands &
abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by 7 km.
wall which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner city is blostered by
imposing walls and has a 16th Centure fort housing old Palaces,
Temples ans a Mosque. Founde by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is
distinguished by its long range of 37 pavillions, a line balconies and
aerial windows of varying designs. Also visit Museum, Bhanda Sagar
Jain Temple and Deshnoke Rat Temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04: Bikaner- Jaisalmer
Morning drive to Jaisalmer ( 333 km.approx.7 hrs.) On arrival
check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Jaisalmer + Sam Sand Dunes + Camel Ride
After
breakfast visit Fort of Jaisalmer, Gadisar Lake, Jain Temple, Patwon
Ki Haveli, Nathmalji Ki Haveli & Salim Singhs Haveli. Afternoon
Excursion to Sam Sand Dunes here you will enjoy the Camel ride and
witness the Sun Set against the Sand Dunes. Evening enjoy the Folk
Dance show. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer- Jodhpur
Early
morning drive to Jodhpur ( 287 km. approx. 7 hrs.) On arrival check in
at- hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing tour. Jodhpur, the strong hold
of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit
the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone
Hill. Within the Fort visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit
Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja
Jaswant Singh II around 1899 and the art – deco inspired Umaid Bhawan
Palace and its Museum. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 07: Jodhpur – Pushkar + Ajmer Sightseeing
Breakfast
at hotel. Later drive to Pushkar. On arrival check in to hotel. Later
visit the Ghats on the Banks of Holi Lake, also visit the Ajmer. Ajmer
is a popular pilgrimage center for the Hindus as well as Muslims.
Especially famous is the Dargah Sharif Tomb of the Sufi Saint Khwaja
Moinuddin Chisti, which is equally revered by the Hindus and Muslims.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Pushkar to Jaipur
After breakfast transferred back to Jaipur airport / railway
station for your onward journey.
